Pillivuyt cookware is internationally known for its exceptionally even heat conditions, as well as its versatility and durability. Because all Pillivuyt pieces have such a hard glaze, they are also very easy to clean. Baked-on food can be removed easily with a short soak or gentle scrubbing, earning it the title of the original non-stick cookware.
The large roasters and bakers among Pillivuyt cookware are generally produced by compression or pressure molding. This ensures a very dense and tough porcelain base. Each piece must be removed from the machine by hand and will then be glazed and fired at around 2500_F.
Important: Every piece of Pillivuyt porcelain is Oven, Microwave, and Dishwasher-Safe, AND can also be placed for baking DIRECTLY on a hot barbecue! They can go directly from Freezer to Oven.
